Try the antique atmosphere of Edifier’s new Bluetooth speaker

Chinese audio expert Edifier said on Monday that his new MP230 Bluetooth speaker – winner of the CES 2022 Innovation Award – is now shipped. For a hundred dollars, portable stereo acoustic speakers come in a wooden frame that wouldn’t look out of place in your grandfather’s lair. However, you can also take your melodies out.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide our audience with one of our award-winning products for innovation,” says Edifier’s CTO, Stanley Wen. “As we continue to advance our own technologies, the MP230 hybrid design is sure to bring everyone an unparalleled and affordable music experience. The Edifier team is thrilled to be able to bring an innovative product to consumers before the new year. ”

Edifier MP230: wooden frame speakers that go everywhere

Edifier, based in Beijing, distributes products in 70 countries. The company said it created the MP230 to better suit consumers with different audio needs at any location.

Speakers combine portability with the design and technology of wooden bookshelf speakers. This allows you to bring sonic landscapes into your bedroom, living room or even outside. Piano button buttons and “boutique mesh” add a vintage vibe.

Portable stereo acoustic speakers include two 48mm full-range drivers with integrated dual passive radiators and a wooden body. It is designed to provide rich sound while reducing acoustic resonance.

Equipped with a Texas Instruments amplifier chipset TAS5822M, two MP230 speakers support output power up to 25W.

3 input methods

With the MP230 you have the option to play music wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 or via AUX input and TF card. A 16-hour playback time should allow you to use it all day no matter where you go, Edifier said.

“The warm, wooden, modern design of the medieval speakers fits into every aesthetic, and at the same time gives a vintage flair,” the company said.

Available at Mall.Edifier.com, the Edifier MP230 comes with a 1-year warranty and free international shipping.

Although known for its speakers, the company launched its high-resolution Neobuds Pro headphones over the summer.
