Tasks have become my main application for to-do lists and I wrote about it here 9to5Mac before. The application has now been updated to its version 2.0, which brings several new features to Tasks. The update comes with folders, smart lists, filters and more.
One of the main features of Tasks 2.0 is the ability to organize tasks into different folders. This way you can separate your projects and lists, and even use nest folders. And for users who like lists, Tasks now has smart lists – that allow you to easily search for tasks in projects, tags, statuses, priorities, types, dates, and other categories.
Filtering tasks have also become more intuitive with the update, as users can now see that the “filter is currently reflected without seeing a kanban display at any time” as described by the application developer. Other improvements have been made to the app, such as widget interface settings and better haptic feedback when performing actions.

Tasks are available for iOS and macOS in the App Store, and you can try them out for free. A full license of the app costs $ 14.99 per year, and there is a lifetime license for $ 49.99. However, during Black Friday week, you can purchase a license for the app at a discounted price.
