Next season from Fall Guys starts on November 30 and the beans enter the spirit of fun. The Mediatonic programmer took inspiration from the festival, carnival and circus for the sixth season. New obstacles include a water balloon cannon, vacuum tubes, a circular version of the infamous seesaw and a platform that rotates vertically after a certain amount of time. Moreover, there are tables from which players can swing.
In the sixth season, more crossover costumes are on the way. Between December 1st and 5th, you can complete the challenges to earn Sackboy skin – the lovely PlayStation mascot is perfect for Fall Guys. In addition, the Fame Pass, which players progress during the season, includes two costume work depicting Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima.
Meanwhile, cross-progression is coming to Battle Royale platformer in its sixth season, building on the cross-playing feature that arrived in May. This way you will be able to access all your costumes and other cosmetics via PlayStation and Steam. In addition, PC players will be able to re-select custom usernames instead of any name Fall Guys generated for them.
As such, you will soon need an Epic Games account to play Fall Guys. Epic bought Mediatonic earlier this year, and Rocket League i Fortnite use the Epic account system and for cross-progression.
You will need to select the primary Fall Guys account, which is the first to link to an Epic account. While you won’t lose costumes, name tags, and so on from any platform, you’ll only keep seasonal progress, crowns, debris, and praise from your primary account. So, it is probably best to spend your crowns and praise on your secondary account before the new season begins.
Mediatonic also notes that if players have different costumes and DLC content on both platforms, they should contact the support team after connecting to their Epic Games account. The team will transfer those items so you won’t lose them. In addition, all players will receive a bonus of 10 crowns.
During the showing of the sixth season, Mediatonic did not mention when the versions were for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Fall Guys will be released, although they should still arrive by the end of the year. However, the developer provided a look at the upcoming round featuring invisible beans.
