The Netflix Ultraman Season 2 Trailer features Ultra Brothers

The Ultraman franchise it wouldn’t be what it is without a great team-among countless Ultra warriors. The first season Netflix and production adaptations by IG Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi Ultraman manga has already given us a trio of rival Ultramen to wear, but now the fun is getting pretty bigger.

Three years after the first season first arrived, Netflix has finally released the first teaser for Ultraman season two, which will appear on the streamer next April. After the first season brought together the new Ultraman Shinjiro Hayata (Ryohei Kimura), Ultraman Ace Seiji Hokuto (Megumi Han) and Ultraseven Dan Moroboshi (Takuya Eguchi), the second will arrive three more classic Ultramen from the franchise, in new spins based on their appearances in the manga series that inspired the show.

One of them is already known to us, in the form of Dan’s SSSP informant Jack (Ryōta Takeuchi), who becomes a crumpled Ultraman Jack. He will be joined by two more figures, one famous and one new in the show to round out the armor download six original “Ultra Brothers” from Ultraman franchise. Shinji’s father Shin (Hideyuki Tanaka), former Prime Minister of Ultraman, will dress in a suit inspired by classic hero Ultraman Zoffy, while young journalist Kotaro Higashi (Tomoaki Maeno) will arrive as Ultraman Taro.

Shinjiro and his friends will need all the help they can get this season, which seems to be developing rapidly in the first season stopped, only to find half the Earth’s population – including poor Shinjira himself – disappearing in the glow of orange light. As the remnants of the SSSP and Kotaro conduct separate investigations into the disappearances and uncover the sinister alien force behind them, they will realizeyes they are we need to work together to save the world — and complete the basic math needed to understand that the Earth has a much better chance with six Ultramen than with three.

Ultraman The second season arrives on Netflix on April 14th.
