Singapore is known for its harsh laws (and penalties for violating them). He now has a new ally in the fight against chewing gum, garbage and major offenses. The state has begun. For the next three weeks, Xavier robots will monitor a crowd of Singapore’s Toa Payoh Central to look for what national authorities describe as “undesirable social behavior” – including any group of people. The current security measure for COVID-19 in the country bans assemblies of more than five people.
To measure the crowd, Xavier models have cameras that create a 360-degree view. They are also capable of capturing images in low light using IR and low light cameras. The artificial intelligence system also analyzes the recorded video to anything that may require an official response. The robot has sensors to avoid stationary and moving objects – and, out of love for robots, hopefully there are none.

The front-wheel drive cover will be inserted below VW’s ID.3.
The ID.Life concept is an electric front-wheel drive designed for city dwellers, announced VW at the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich. The small crossover shares the MEB platform and battery with ID.3, and VW plans to launch it in Europe – not the US – by 2025.
As we see in Munich, the ID.Life concept aims to show how VW can create more sustainable vehicles. It uses wood chips as a natural dye in a transparent color, and the textile for the air chambers for the roof is 100% recycled PET bottles. Other materials include wood on the dashboard and ArtVelours Eco seats, along with natural rubber, bio-oil and rice husks in the tires.
It will arrive along with ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, which Paramount has once again pushed back.
Top Gun: Maverick was supposed to finally arrive in theaters, but Paramount has again postponed its release date, and the sequel should arrive another six months later, on May 27, due to COVID-19. This decision is also planned for , because Asobo Studio also postponed it.
The studio wrote: “As we announced earlier, Top Gun: Maverick extension for Microsoft Flight Simulator for Windows 10 PC, Steam, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox Game Pass will be released alongside the movie. ”
The mission to get him back to Earth will be a little more challenging.
After initially struggling to capture a rock sample, NASA confirmed that the Perseverance rover had collected the core width of a rust-colored rock pencil. It is now safely in a rover sample tube, ready to be processed and sent back to Earth.
NASA thought it caught the first sample last month, but a subsequent check showed the tube was empty. NASA eventually determined that the sample was too powdery to collect. “The hardware worked as ordered, but the rock didn’t cooperate this time,” the engineers retorted.
It is the company’s dream of sustainable vehicles in 2040.
There can be no transport show without bizarre concept vehicles. It’s BMW’s turn, and it’s another vision of more sustainable materials and methods for car production. BMW has avoided the use of composite materials and bonded links to make EV more easily damaged at the end of its service life. Instead, it is built mostly of recycled aluminum and uses quick-release fasteners, presses and ropes so that recyclers can easily disassemble it. BMW claims it can be 100 percent recycled.
Then there is the V-shaped control panel, which you can see above. The centerpiece is a 3D printed crystal sculpture that uses lighting to simulate the “thinking” of the vehicle, according to BMW. Ah, of course.
