Ever since Insomniac Games appeared with Spider-Man In 2018 for PS4, Marvel did its best to make a summary of successful AAA games. They were mostly good at itSpider-Man: Miles Morales was pretty good, and Spider-Man 2 properly it should also be pretty good; the Guardians of the Galaxy game from this week it was a pleasant surprise – and now the publisher has a new developer in his pocket.

It was released by Marvel yesterday partnership with Skydance’s New Media division that will see the creation of a new action-adventure game based on another Marvel character. The new media will be led by their president Amy Hennig, who the players will know as a writer The legacy of Cain series and as creative director and writer for the first three films of Naughty Dog Uncharted games. (She is also a writer for Square Enix’s Forspoken, comes out next spring.)

In a press statement, Hennig expressed excitement over the new partnership. “Marvel Universe embodies all the action, mystery and excitement of the pulp adventure genre that I adore and fits in perfectly with the interactive experience. I am honored to be able to tell the original story with all the humanity, complexity and humor that makes Marvel’s characters so resilient and allow our players to embody these heroes they love. ”

The new game will be a “narratively driven, blockbuster action-adventure game”, which seems to be largely the bread and butter of this new wave of Marvel games. Fans are already speculating who will be the next hero to win the solo game. Daredevil, a hero who is inevitable, seems to be a popular choice so far is being raised when you talk about Marvel media.

Whoever the main character (or heroes) is for this new game will have a lot of eyes fixed on them when it is finally released. But at least we know one thing about it: former io9 guy Evan Narcisse will be included, so it should be good when it finally arrives on consoles and PCs.
