Rumors of the Apple Watch Series 7 arrive in mid-October

The Apple Watch Series 7 was announced at Apple’s special event in September along with the iPhone 13 line and new iPad models. However, unlike the siblings, the Apple Watch Series 7 is not available to customers – and Apple has no news on when that will be. According to Jon Prosser, the next generation of Apple Watch is expected to go on sale in October.

Prosser on Tuesday shared a report based on “multiple sources familiar with the release” who told him the Apple Watch Series 7 would be released to customers in mid-October. An Apple blogger also said pre-bookings could begin “as early as next week.”

According to several sources familiar with the release, we hear that pre-orders could happen as early as next week, and delivery will take place in mid-October. Apple has begun informing reporters that they expect “more information in the coming weeks” regarding review units, but as far as I understand, they have not yet been given an exact date for pre-orders or launches.

During an introductory speech in September, Apple did not say when the Apple Watch Series 7 will arrive in stores. Instead, the company said it would be available “later this fall” and “by the end of the year,” as seen on Apple’s website. As autumn ends on December 21, it is almost impossible to predict when the Series 7 will be officially released.

Interestingly, Apple partner Hermès seems to be confirming Proser’s data leak. The company, which will once again offer its own custom models of the Apple Watch, told the customer that pre-orders for the 7 Series will begin on October 8, 2021. It is unclear if this is a legitimate answer, but it matches the schedule announced by Prosser.

The Apple Watch Series 7 has a refreshed design and a larger screen in both models, but without new processors or health sensors. This year’s Apple Watch is a mystery, as many rumors have indicated that it has a new flat design that did not happen in the end.
