New HyperDrive 4K display docks

The new HyperDrive 4K display station for MacBook is a unique solution located under the back of your device, slightly raising it to a more ergonomic typing angle, while providing better heat dissipation and hiding what would otherwise be a mess of cables and keys. No more drivers or ancient space-consuming connectivity options, just clean, triple 4K 60Hz source video without drivers with 15 connectors in a clean, precision brushed aluminum hub that fits your MacBook perfectly.

The HyperDrive HD134 model offers a pair of 60Hz HDMI 4K ports, two 4K 60Hz DisplayPort ports, Gigbit Ethernet, three USB-C (one with 100W power supply), three USB-A and a dual part SSD / microSD card reader up to 104MB / s .

On the HyperDrive HD156 ready for triple screen, you’ll find it all along with a magnetic and detachable side that perfectly matches the MacBook’s 15- to 16-inch form factor that subsequently provides additional HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity.

Hyper has now taken its two new HyperDrive dual or triple 4K display docks to Indiegogo for a short and near-funded campaign that should begin shipping in December 2021.

The HD156 model will be sold for $ 299 and the HD134 will carry a $ 249 IFRS, but you can achieve one or both of them 50% discount as part of a crowdfunding campaign with prices starting from $ 124 shipped. Both come with a nice ribbed handle to keep things solid and in place, as well as unique USB-C cables that will connect them to your machine.

9to5Toys’ Take:

Hyper has been running these types of campaigns successfully for a long time and generally always hits in terms of release windows and the like. Some good examples of this are the new HyperJuice 4-in-1 MagSafe charging cradle along with the “world’s first and most powerful” 245W GaN charger and battery we recently introduced, and we expect a lot from its latest HyperDrive USB -C this time it connects multiple screens. They are easily some of the most elegant-looking solutions on the market, despite the fact that the black rubber USB-C connection cables look aesthetically inappropriate – I just can’t say why exactly. Still, I’ll probably take one now while the price is appropriate anyway.
