Less than a year after the introduction of Mode II, its first pair of true wireless headphones, Marshall is expanding its line of Bluetooth headsets to include two new true wireless models: the Motif ANC and the Minor III. As you can probably guess from the name, the first involves active noise cancellation, a feature you won’t find on Marshall’s Mode II headphones.
With the ANC turned on, the company claims you can get four and a half hours of playback with the Motif ANC headset on a single charge and an additional 20 hours of battery life from the included charging case. The ANC function is fully customizable, allowing you to set the noise cancellation and transparency level yourself. Other notable features include IPX5 moisture protection, wireless charging support, dual call microphones and touch controls.
Marshall positions the Minor III as an uncompromising headset. They feature 12mm drivers tailored to deliver the company’s sound, with touch controls, IPX4-certified water resistance and open adjustment for all-day comfort. With one charge, you can expect five hours from the headphones and an additional 20 with the included charging case, for a total of 25 hours of playback. You can charge the case with a USB-C cable or by placing it on a Qi-compatible charging pad.
The Motif ANC headphones are available for pre-order on the Marhsall website today, with general availability following on September 30th. They cost £ 199, £ 199 or £ 180. As for the Minor III headphones, you can buy them today at a price of 129, 129 or 119 pounds.
