On the trail MandalordianGina Carano is a being fired from the show after publication anti-Semitic memes, spreading electoral conspiracy theories and ridiculing the use of pronouns, Star Wars fans wasted no time guessing who might replace the actress if her character is Cara Dune, intended to return to the series in the future.

Although Disney has not in any way suggested what the future holds for Emperor Dune, the name Lucy Lawless has been placed in more than a few fan spaces for reasons that should be obvious. Characters like Care Dune owe a lot to Lawless star of Russia Xena: Warrior Princess, and the idea that Lawless borrows his talents Star Wars a franchise is something that makes perfect sense on paper. There is talk of people who are interested in joining Lawless Star Wars apparently broke through to the actress herself, who recently opened on about how she had already talked about signing a contract about Star Wars (objective of non-Mandalorian) project before the whole mess with Caran started.

Although Lawless did not say what this second proposed project might be, she explained how the drama came about Mandalorian and people adored her to replace Caran, so they considered why things didn’t move forward then. To be inserted Star Wars after Carano’s outing could hurt Lawless, she said, “because he would seem to be drowning in … I’m just guessing, I don’t know anything, but in a way, it can be useless, because if they like this fan group, how then you will reconcile with every other fan group, do you know what I mean? ”

Star Wars‘The galaxy is large enough that there may be more than one fierce woman firing from a laser weapon fighting the forces of evil, but what matters is what Lawless has put forward about the optics of her potential employment. That Disney announced that Lawless would join the new one Star Wars in a show or movie about a character named, say, Caren Spice, people would understandably assume that the studio is simply trying to ignore its previous relationships with Caran by simply replacing it with another actress known for her role as similar characters. All of this is further complicated by the fact that Cara Dune was such a favorite fan character that he seemed ready to take over greater role in Mandalorian and beyond, which is a series they may now have to find a way to deal with it. Caran’s statements have nothing to do with Lawless, however this situation is probably the exact reason why the studio decided to divorce the former actress. Star Wars will recover from a return focused on Caran, but does so trying to avoid returning problems. Lawless doesn’t resent the way she inadvertently politicized herself with the actions of another actor and understands that it all stems from the fact that people want to see her in more things.

“But the world is like that and they thought it out of love, and I thank the fans for their loyalty to me,” she said. “I haven’t thought about it since, so it didn’t hurt, but it was my thought at the time, like, ooh, that’s why I look like a political appointment, not like an actress.”

Mandalorian will probably return to its third season sometime in 2022.
