LinkedIn adds new tools to ‘Creator Mode’, including LinkedIn Live Access and newsletters

LinkedIn enhances its ‘Creator Mode’ features by adding LinkedIn Live access for those with Creator Mode enabled, as well as a new newsletter option for creators who help keep in touch with their audience.

First, on LinkedIn Live – initially only available for For members and sites with more than 150 followers and / or links that meet certain criteria, LinkedIn now gives creators access to the option, providing another way to maximize audience engagement on the platform.

Those with Creative Mode enabled will now be able to broadcast to their followers in the app and with LinkedIn users 20x more likely share video on platform from any other type of post, and overall engagement with live content on the rise, it could be a powerful way to maximize community engagement and increase your in-app presence.

Indeed, LinkedIn says so Live videos see an average of 7x more reactions and 24x more comments than original videos produced by the same broadcasters in the app.

LinkedIn also gives Creator Mode users access to newsletters, which will also help you stay in touch with your audience.

Whenever you publish a new article in your newsletter, your subscribers are automatically notified via push notifications, in-app notifications and email to keep up to date with your latest content. ”

This could be a good way to encourage more creators to maintain a regular column on selected topics of interest, helping to increase their presence and leadership in thinking.

“To create a newsletter, click on‘ Write article “at the top of the homepage. This takes you to the publishing tool. If you have access, you’ll see the ‘Create Newsletter’ option here. We do not currently accept one-time requests to access author newsletters.”

LinkedIn has also launched a $ 25 million Creator Accelerator Program to further encourage thought leaders to build their presence in the app, while its Creator Mode tools continue to evolve and provide more opportunities in this regard.
