Brandon Brown, the NASCAR driver who inadvertently helped create the viral right-wing song. “Let’s go, Brandon”(Which many people believe means“ Fuck Joe Biden ”), he decided to team up with a slogan-based memecoin.

LGBcoin.io, a recently launched crypto-token based on a very biased phrase, announced Thursday that it will serve as the primary sponsor of the entire season for Brown and his team, Brandonbilt Motorsports, during NASCAR 2022. In professional races, such sponsorships allow companies to basically use drivers like giant, seasonal billboards – decorating their cars, and often the driver himself, with associated corporate logos and advertising accessories.

In other words, Brown will obviously serve as a full-time advertisement – both for this stupid new cryptocurrency and, allegedly, coded disrespect for the president. In a video posted on Twitter on Thursday, Brown announced the collaboration, revealing that next year he will drive a Chevrolet Camaro 69 – painted in red, white and blue – with the memecoin name printed on it.

That is how the three devilish forces (cryptocurrency, NASCAR and party politics) merged, and this whole boring saga continues.

In case you’re not aware, the LGB phenomenon began in October — when Brown was 28 won the race at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama. For whatever reason, the audience erupted that day with shouts of “Fuck Joe Biden!” After his victory. On-site reporter Kelly Stavast heard the audience chant this and, seemingly confused, told the driver and her viewers to chant “Let’s go Brandon!” The phrase later became popular at conservative sporting events – and a kind of strange panic ensued.

Now, two months later, the slogan has inspired interpreters Associated Press i NPR, analysis and deep thinking from the Atlantic, explosion from related goods, the exclamation of the Southwest Airlines pilot (who compared to ISIS i almost lost his job), and, yes, new memecoin for investing fans of the saying. Proving that he is a true American, Brown decided to cash in on his unintentional proclamation as the latest idiotic cultural hotspot of our country – a development that is also not surprising.

Yes, it was a good ride. If you hadn’t watched this whole little melodrama, you would really be forgiven because, after all … who cares? Shouting “fuck the president” was tradition in this country probably since its founding, hell, it actually existed song loyal telling Trump to fuck off), so it’s unclear why anyone would expect that to change now. Most of all, this development is just annoying, because it means that I will have to keep reading about “LGB” and what it’s all about. means in the foreseeable future — or at least until the NASCAR season is over.
