Do you have a new iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro? If you’re coming from a certain old iPhone, you’ll be a little confused about how to take a screenshot on your new iPhone. The lack of a start button means that the screen capture process on the iPhone 13 Pro is different from older iPhones.
If you are upgrading to iPhone 13 from iPhone X or later, you will be familiar with the procedure. Because the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro lack a start button, Apple uses a different combination of hardware keys on the screen capture device.
How to take a screenshot on iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro
Step 1: Press the side button and the volume up button
Press Sound amplification i Side button (formerly known as the sleep / wake button) simultaneously on your iPhone 13 Pro. As soon as you release the keys, a screenshot will be taken.
Step 2: Edit the screenshot

Step 3: Share the screenshot
Touch and hold the preview to go directly to the Sharing page and send a screenshot to the app of your choice.
You can also discard the screenshot. The screenshot will be automatically saved in the Screenshot album in the Photos app.
How to capture a screen using Assistive Touch on iPhone 13
Assistive Touch is a handy tool for accessing some of your most frequently used menus in iOS. If you need or want to capture the screen with just one hand, you can do so using the Assistive Touch program.
Step 1. Enable auxiliary touch
Enable the auxiliary touch by going to Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> Auxiliary touch and enable the Assistive Touch option. You will see a translucent button on the screen. This is an auxiliary touch button.
Step 2. Customize the top level menu
Touch Customize the top level menu.
Then tap Custom icon (the one with an asterisk) and select Screenshot from the list. A screenshot button will be added to the auxiliary touch menu. You can also tap any default icon to replace it with the Screenshot button or any other option from the list.
Step 3. Take a screenshot using the auxiliary touch
With the screen capture option added to your Assistive Touch menu, we can take a screenshot with one hand at any time by tapping the Assistive Touch button followed by a screen capture button.
How to take a screenshot on iPhone 13 using Syria
If you want to capture a hands-free screen on your iPhone 13, then you can use Siri. Call Siri with the voice command ‘Hey Siri’ or long press the side key / power button.
You’ll notice a simplified Siri interface at the bottom, which means the assistant listens to your commands. Ask Siri to take a screenshot and she will take a screenshot for you. You will notice an overview in the lower left corner.

How to view screenshots on iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro
You can find all your screenshots in Screenshots in the Photos application. This album, like the Selfies album, is created automatically. Each captured screenshot will be automatically added to this album.
Just open it Photos app, tap Albums tab. Scroll down to Types of media, and in the list you will find the Screenshots album. You can also access all screenshots from the Recently in menu Photos application.
