Infinix NOTE 11 Pro has affordable games in sight

New Infinix NOTE 11 Pro from Infinix has just been launched with a focus on affordable games. Since Samsung launched its highly successful Galaxy Note smartphones, many other OEMs have also created their own Note franchises, usually related to large screen phones or productivity-oriented ones.

In addition to the inherent multimedia capabilities due to 6.95 inch screen, gaming capabilities come with a 120 Hz FHD + screen and a new MediaTek Helio G96 (July 2021) computer platform (with 8 GB or 11 GB of RAM).

The official IFRS for the US market is $ 249, and this price will vary slightly depending on the country so check with your local retailer.

In terms of price, I expect the graphics performance to be relatively tame, so people should think more about “casual” than “high-end” games (the most graphically advanced games). For example, classics like Real Racing 3 should work well (30-50FPS).

The sound system looks promising with DTS audio support. Paired with a large screen, it should provide an impressive experience when playing or watching videos.

I like the industrial design, which looks modern and makes no sense. The Infinix did a great job with this and it is not immediately apparent visually that the rear grille is made of plastic and not glass.

According to official specifications, the rear camera system is powered by a primary sensor of 64 MP and “30X” zoom. The 16-megapixel selfie camera seems decent in price, but if you want a much better camera system than the Infinix, check out the Infinix Zero X series.

All in all, the Infinix NOTE 11 Pro is an attractive-looking phone (priced) that allows Infinix to compete in a large, highly competitive market. I see it more as a multimedia phone than a gaming phone, but it all comes down to “graphics performance, per dollar spent”, which will be revealed in the full review.

It is difficult to manage the situation of “technical victory” in these categories by having better specifications. Instead, Infinix is more likely to use its brand and marketing power to try to drive part of the market away from the competition.
