How to use Focus on Apple Watch

Source: Luke Filipowicz / iMore

Your best Apple Watch can help you focus! Focus is now the new umbrella term for Do Not Disturb and allows you to create custom Do Not Disturb ways based on your needs throughout the day. You can set different focuses for a number of other purposes, scheduling when you want them to turn on automatically, or just the ability to turn them on at the touch of a button on your iPhone.

You can choose from which apps you see notifications or from which contacts you receive messages, so if you work but also want to be available to your family in an emergency, you can set the focus to block all notifications except those from your family members. However, in watchOS 8 you can’t actually create a new Focus like you can in iOS 15, but rather set your Apple Watch (and other devices) to follow any Focus you’ve already set up. You can also create custom schedules for any focus and choose to share your focus on other devices. Here’s how to use Focus on an Apple Watch.
