Apple is delaying the iOS 15 feature to add your driver’s license to your iPhone until early 2022.
Apple has revealed that the upcoming iOS 15 and watchOS 8 feature that will allow you to add a driver’s license or state ID to your iPhone and Apple Watch has been delayed until early 2022.

IMessage’s reactions will no longer bother Android users thanks to the change of thumbnail emojis
Android users will finally be able to properly see iMessage reactions like heart or thumb up thanks to a recent change to Google’s Messages app that displays reactions as emoticons.
Prior to the change, iMessage reactions would appear as a subsequent text message on Android devices, such as e.g. [Contact Name] “beloved” [Text of the Original Message], which was both confusing and repetitive.

Apple recently announced a new self-service repair program that will give customers access to Apple’s original parts, tools and manuals to complete their own repairs of selected devices, starting with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 early next year.
Apple’s self-service repair program will include repair manuals on the Apple Support website and an online third-party parts and tools store operated by a third party.

Spotify users become impatient and cancel subscriptions due to a lack of native support for the HomePod
Spotify users are becoming increasingly impatient with the music streaming service due to the lack of native support for the HomePod, pushing several users to the brink of completely unsubscribing and switching to alternative platforms, such as Apple Music.
Apple has allowed third-party music streaming services to originally support HomePod since 2020, but Spotify has yet to enable that feature, which would allow users to use Siri to play Spotify content from their “HomePod” without opening the app.
Apple sues NSO group over state-sponsored spyware targeting iOS users
Apple filed a lawsuit against the NSO Group this week to “hold it accountable” for state-sponsored spyware aimed at Apple users. Apple said it also contributes $ 10 million to organizations involved in cyber surveillance research and advocacy.
Apple said it was informing “a small number of users” around the world that it found might have been targeted. Apple shared a support document stating that it would notify these users “in accordance with industry best practices.”
