Gourmet: Apple’s event in November is unlikely, the new MacBook Air with the biggest redesign since 2010 will be launched next year

In the latest issue of his Power On newsletter, BloombergMark Gurman said he did not expect Apple to hold another event or make any other major product announcements this year, while drawing attention to what we can expect next year.

Apple held an event in November 2020 to unveil its first Macs with its custom M1 chip, but Gurman believes Apple has nothing left in its roadmap that would be ready to launch before the end of 2021.

Gourmet believes the new MacBook Air with a brand new design and Apple’s M2 chip will be launched in approximately six to eight months. He believes the upcoming model will be the biggest redesign of the MacBook Air since 2010, and rumors earlier this week claimed the notebook would have a similar design to the 24-inch iMac, including nearly white bezels around the screen and a variety of color choices.

Gourmet also expects a larger iMac with Apple silicone, a new Mac mini, a new iPhone SE and a new iPad Pro to be launched after the calendar turns 2022.

After unveiling redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with Apple’s next-generation M1 Pro and M1 Max chips this week, the only Intel-based Macs left in Apple’s lineup include the cheaper 21.5-inch iMac designed for the education market. , 27-inch iMac, premium Mac mini and Mac Pro tower.
