Maybe Mickey will finally kick out Goofy Disney Melee Mania

Don’t expect any tea parties or dances Disney Melee Mania. “Fans will compete with the arcade-style Disney and Pixar champions in a fun and frantic all-out brawl to survive the chaotic commotion and stay in the spotlight,” Simon Davis, executive director of the title’s developer, Mighty Bear Games, said in a press release.

Players will be able to take Wreck-It to Ralph, Elsa, Mickey Mouse, Frozone, Moana, Buzz Lightyear and others into action in the battle arena. The developer plans to add additional characters over time.

Each round of play will begin with players / teams choosing from 12 characters to fight in 3-on-3 matches. During each five-minute showdown, players will need to score as many points as possible – or defeat the opposing team as many times as they can – to stand a chance to win. Disney’s Melee Mania will offer fast multiplayer battles that test each character’s unique abilities in close combat.

Up to six people can play at once.

Now to Apple Arcade

Disney Melee Mania from Mighty Bear Games is now available for download from the App Store. There are versions for iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV – although the co-op elements will obviously be better played on a bigger screen. Regardless of the platform, an external game controller is always an option.

It’s not available to everyone because it’s part of Apple’s gaming service. “Apple Arcade provides seamless uninterrupted gaming service, allowing families to easily enjoy fun and exciting gaming experiences, all without ads or in-app purchases,” said Alex Rofman, senior director of Apple Arcade.

It costs $ 4.99 a month, but one subscription works for up to six family members. Subscribers can play more than 200 titles in the catalog, such as the recently released – and similar – Lego Star Wars Battles.
