The building, which also houses the NHL’s LA Kings and WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, will not officially begin replacing markings on the facility until Dec. 25, on Christmas Day. And even then, all the signs of the Staples Center will not be extinguished until June 2022, according to Crypto.com.

The Staples Center (sorry, Crypto.com Arena) is owned by AEG and is located in downtown Los Angeles. AEG also has an entertainment complex called LA Live in the neighborhood, which is likely to be filled with a host of ads related to cryptocurrencies. The arena will also include a new 3,300-square-foot “activation space” at the entrance to the building, which is the code for multiple ads. This thing will be full of crypto advertising, day and night.

“This partnership represents the fastest growing cryptocurrency platform and the world’s largest sports and entertainment company merging to launch the future of sports and live entertainment, as well as the incredible legacy of this arena in the coming decades,” Todd Goldstein, Chief AEG Revenue Officer , it is stated in the announcement.

“This marks an exciting new chapter in the history of our company and our industries, and we can no longer be thrilled to have such a visionary partner as Crypto.com that supports our global fan base and local community,” Goldstein continued.
