On the eve of Black Friday, Discovery Plus is offering an offer on its Ad-Lite plan, with customers paying just $ 0.99 a month for the first three months with a video streaming service.

Given that the holidays are on the horizon, few people may be worried that they don’t have something they would like to watch on TV. In what might be considered a great answer to the problem, Discovery + offers a big discount on subscriptions to its Ad-Lite plan.

Usually priced at $ 4.99 per month, users who sign up for the Ad-Lite service can get the first three months for just $ 0.99 per month. After three months, the subscription returns to the usual price of $ 4.99.

As the name implies, the Ad-Lite plan will provide access to the entire Discovery + catalog, with a small amount of ads to be displayed while watching shows.

An ad-free level is also available, which costs $ 6.99 per month, but the $ 0.99 offer does not apply to that plan. However, nothing prevents you from switching to it after the expiration of the three-month contract.

Discovery + offers shows of brands including HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, Magnolia Network and the Discovery Channel itself, including original programs exclusive to the service. Its new Holiday Central includes themed programs including “Home Town: Ben’s Holiday Workshop” and “Candy Coated Christmas”.

New shows in November include the new series “Kendra Sells Hollywood,” “FoodGod,” the new season of “90 Day: The Single Life,” and numerous headlines about true crimes.

Even more offers for Black Friday

AppleInsider and Apple’s authorized resellers also have special offers for Mac and iPad hardware that will not only deliver the lowest prices on many products, but will also bring bonus savings on add-ons, software and more. Here are just a few offers leading up to Black Friday:
