Battery capacities for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro have been revealed in Teardown

Earlier this month, Apple drew conclusions from the iPhone 13 series. Pre-orders have already started for all four iPhone models. The devices arrive for users who could pre-order. As expected, the breakup of the iPhone 13 has started coming out on YouTube, and the latest reveals battery capacity for all four models.

Apple refrains from revealing specifications during launch, and the iPhone 13 is no different. Apple only revealed that the iPhone 13 models are equipped with larger batteries unlike their predecessors. The crash confirms the same and reveals the battery capacity for each iPhone 13 model.

  • iPhone 13 mini- 2406mAh
  • iPhone 13- 3,227 mAh
  • iPhone 13 Pro- 3,095 mAh
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max- 4,353 mAh

For comparison, below is a list of all iPhone 12 models with the appropriate battery capacity.

  • iPhone 12 mini- 2.227
  • iPhone 12-2,815 mAh
  • iPhone 12 Pro- 2,815 mAh
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max- 3,687 mAh

The iPhone 13 mini has a slightly larger battery. Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro get a significant increase in battery capacity. Apple claims that the iPhone 13 Pro offers up to 1.5 hours longer battery life than the iPhone 12 Pro. In addition, the iPhone 13 Pro Max offers 2.5 hours longer battery life compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Other demolition features include a smaller tactical engine and a double-folded motherboard with the A15 Bionic.

A previous crash confirmed that Apple had physically increased the batteries. Maybe this explains the extra mass. The A15 Bionic is much more efficient and contributes to better battery life. Moreover, the higher capacity batteries on the iPhone 13 are transferred to a better spare battery in actual use. Reviewers reported an increase in spare battery on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
