If you missed the opportunity to get Apple’s latest model of AirPods last Black Friday, it may have been a hidden blessing. It sold for $ 150 that weekend, which is a great price for a new model, but now it costs even less on Amazon. You can buy the third generation Apple AirPods headphones for $ 140, which is the lowest price we’ve seen for wireless headphones. Amazon still lists the unit at $ 170, or just $ 9 lower than the original retail price of $ 179, but the website will apply a total of $ 39 in savings after payment.

We gave the third-generation AirPods headphones a rating of 88 in our review and praised them for the complete redesign of the headphones. They have a new “contour” shape with a narrowed silhouette that is more comfortable and fits better, and now they are resistant to sweat and water like the Pro model. The headphones now better determine if they are in your ear for more precise automatic pausing.

Apple’s H1 chip allows for quick one-touch pairing making their connection to the iPhone as easy as touching the screen. Furthermore, the chip gives the headset the ability to always work on Siri, allowing you to issue voice commands without having to use your phone. They also have the same actions as the Pro version, with options to play / pause and skip tracks, as well as accept calls with a series of touches on the headphones. And, perhaps most importantly, the model has much better sound quality than its predecessors.

In addition, if you want something even cheaper, second-generation AirPods are also currently on sale for $ 100. In case you’re in the mood for AirPods Pro and don’t mind paying a little more, you can get it for $ 179 right now.
