Apple Stock News: AR/VR Headset Technology
Apple Stock News: Apple is working on new iterations of its AR/VR gear that could benefit those with eye conditions. Gurman claims that Apple has a dedicated XDG team looking into options for future AR/VR headsets that will help those with vision impairments, as well as next-generation display technology, AI, and other possibilities. According to rumors, the first iteration of the AR/VR headgear will include more than a dozen cameras, some of which will be used to map the user’s immediate surroundings. The headset may be able to project additional visual information for persons who are legally blind or have other visual impairments thanks to this feature. Also, persons with conditions like AMD (Age-Related Macular Degeneration), which results in blind areas in eyesight, may benefit from tailored functionalities.
Spotify-Inspired EU Antitrust Lawsuit Narrowing Judgment
The European Commission declared that its antitrust inquiry into Apple’s guidelines for streaming music apps has been more specifically focused. The emphasis of the probe will now be solely on Apple’s actions in blocking streaming music apps from letting iPhone and iPad consumers know that lower subscription costs are available when signing up outside of the App Store.
Customers may no longer subscribe to Spotify through the iPhone app. Customers can “can’t upgrade to Premium via the app,” according to a statement in the app’s Premium page, which also lacks any information or external links about signing up on Spotify’s website. At the end of the day, Spotify is still unable to promote the cheaper subscription rates offered through its website within its iPhone app.
New iPhone SE
Apple has resumed work on a fourth-generation iPhone SE with a 6.1-inch OLED screen and a 5G processor that was previously halted. The new iPhone SE will resemble the conventional iPhone 14, which has a 6.1-inch OLED screen with smaller bezels and an Apple-designed 5G modem. But connectivity will only be available on sub-6GHz 5G bands. There is no precise information available on the release date of the new iPhone SE. Considering when previous iterations of the device went on sale, it probably won’t be accessible until March 2024 or later.
