As part of Veterans Day, Apple highlights apps, stories, audio books, health and fitness activities, content in the Apple TV app and more. The company also reminds veterans and the active military to have discounts on Apple products.

Apple today placed a banner at the top of its website with “Here for the Brave” and a link to the Veterans / Military Apple Store at a discount. It offers a 10% discount on most products with even immediate family members eligible for the discount.

Apple also released a post in the newsroom detailing all the ways it pays tribute to veterans:

On Veterans Day and throughout the year, Apple pays tribute to those who serve and their families for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice. In honor of veterans across the United States, Apple celebrates veteran stories, raising support for their communities and sharing their legacies with special activations on and its products and services.

As we reported earlier, Apple is awarding a special Veterans Day Achievement Award to Apple Watch users.

Earlier this week, Apple Fitness + released a new episode of Time to Walk featuring General CQ Brown, Jr., chief of staff of the U.S. Air Force and the first African-American to lead the armed forces. In this walk as part of Veterans Day, Brown describes how he returned from professional failures to achieve the highest rank in aviation, and what it was like to speak out after the murder of George Floyd. Walking Time is an inspiring audio experience on the Apple Watch designed to encourage Fitness + users to get active by walking more often, featuring some of the most interesting and influential people in the world sharing stories, photos and music.

And Apple highlights military and veteran content in the App Store, Books Store, Apple TV app and more.

From the battle front to the home front, veteran service and sacrifice are honored in the Military Stories collection in the Apple TV app – which features inspirational documentaries such as “Heavenly Blossom”, sweeping dramas, and even dishonest comedies.
