Fortunately, in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, money grows on trees, and there are a few quick ways to increase your wallet. Here are some tips for quickly earning a ton of ringtones.

Go even further

As part of the Nook Getaway package, players can repay their loan using Nook Miles as well as with Bells. Luckily for you, it’s easy to earn Nook miles, especially at the beginning of the game. There are many simple tasks such as taking photos, writing on the board or putting something in your house, which will help you earn Nook miles and get closer to repaying the loan.

Money grows on trees

If you happen to come across a glittery spot on the ground while running through town, you can use your shovel to dig in that spot and find 1000 bells. While you can only save money in your pocket, you can get a lot more if you are patient.

Select a bell bag from your inventory and choose to bury it back in the ground. Keep in mind that you can bury up to 10,000 bells in one of these unique holes. After burying the bag, a shoot will appear. Leave the sapling alone for a few days. If you need to move the tree, dig up the sapling and replant it in another place.

Eventually it will grow into a tree and drop three bags of bells. Keep in mind that a new shimmer of a money tree appears on your island every day. You can have multiple money trees to grow at the same time, so you will definitely want to be looking for these great places.

Buy cheap, sell high

You can make or lose huge amounts of ringtones by playing in the stalk market. Every Sunday between 5am and noon, Daisy Mae will show up somewhere on your island and offer to sell you beets. Its prices will vary from week to week between 90 and 110 bells, so try to buy when they are on the low side. Get as much as you can afford. Keep in mind that you can’t keep them in your home storage, so you’ll need a place to store them. Otherwise you will carry them in your pockets.

Timmy and Tommy won’t be buying beets on Sunday, but will subsequently offer different prices throughout the week. Go back regularly and wait for the price to be higher than the one you bought them for, then unload the beets and make a big profit.
