Adobe integrates easy-to-use photo and video tools with Creative Cloud Express

With its Monday launch of Creative Cloud Express mobile and web applications, Adobe is merging tools from its Creative Cloud Suite and Acrobat PDF into a simple platform that amateurs can use to create a variety of projects. The app means it makes it easy to make posts on social media, promotional posters, invitations, videos and more.

Creative Cloud Express, formerly known as Adobe Spark, uses the first template approach to address many common projects. Provides access to images and other means. It is designed to be more accessible than individual Creative Cloud applications.

“Everyone has a story to tell, and our mission is to empower everyone to express their ideas,” said Scott Belsky, product director and executive vice president, Creative Cloud, Adobe. “In this unique time, when millions of people are building personal and professional brands, we are excited to be able to launch Creative Cloud Express as a simple template-based tool that integrates creation, collaboration and sharing so everyone can create with ease.”

Template libraries and other tools

Creative Cloud Express provides non-professional tools that they can use to bring creative projects to life. A professional might prefer the precision and control of a full Creative Cloud application. But many people just want a quick and easy way to do similar tasks, Adobe said.

The app offers thousands of templates, 20,000 Adobe fonts and 175 million Adobe Stock images, the company said. Creative Cloud Express takes advantage of Adobe Sensei, Adobe’s AI / ML framework. It also helps launch flagship programs from Photoshop, Premiere and Acrobat.

With Creative Cloud Libraries integrated with Express, users will also be able to download and pre-create tools created in programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator in Express.

The app also includes conversion tools so you can easily convert video to GIFs or documents to PDF, for example.

The integration of Adobe Stock into the free version of Creative Cloud Express means that users can access about a million images and other resources. Meanwhile, premium plan users have access to 175 million Adobe Stock photos, 20,000 fonts, and access to Photoshop Express and Premiere Rush.
