Acronis integrates with Addigy’s MDM to enable SMEs to extend security protection on macOS devices

Acronis has introduced the latest Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud integration with Addigy and its Apple enterprise device management solutions. This new integration is another step in Acronis’ latest effort to enable managed service providers to easily deploy and manage a company’s single-agent cyber security solution on macOS / iOS enterprise devices.

As adoption of Apple products continues to grow in the workplace, setting the right security solutions is key for companies to identify, monitor, and secure sensitive data across all Apple devices. With this release, SMEs can implement and monitor Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud’s full range of backup and cyber security capabilities within the Addigy RMM interface.

Today’s SMEs are more likely than ever to rely on macOS systems – a trend that has only accelerated with the recent shift to teleworking and increased “bring your device” practices, said Jan-Jaap “JJ” Jager, board adviser and Chief Revenue Officer at Acronis. “Cybercriminals are already reacting to this changing landscape and stepping up their attacks on Apple devices. This new integration with Addigy supports SMEs while delivering unparalleled cyber protection in customers’ IT environments, all through a platform they already know and trust. ”

The combination of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud with Addigy’s device management platform gives IT administrators a single device management and security portal without introducing additional complexity.

“Addigy’s integration with one of the biggest data protection and cybersecurity powers in today’s marketplace is a critical step in ensuring that we give our customers all the tools they need to effectively secure Apple devices,” said Jason Dettbarn, Addigy’s founder and CEO. “We are thrilled to partner with Acronis and look forward to adding more integration to our platform to meet the needs of our ever-evolving customers.”
