Apple Stock News: After Qualcomm unveiled its new 5G Snapdragon X70 modem, which is likely to be the last Qualcomm modem Apple will use in its iPhone, Apple plans to shift to in-house custom-designed chips to wean itself off Qualcomm. Qualcomm says the Snapdragon X70 can achieve downlink speeds of up to 10Gbps and peak upload speeds of up to 3.5Gbps, it is up to 60% more energy-efficient thanks to its 5G PowerSave Gen 3 technology.
